Dan was doing much better yesterday. He was very coherent and talkative and even joking a little. His swelling is much better. Today, the doctors are taking the bolster off his right eye (the one they did the skin graph release on) so he should be able to see. Nothing was done to his left eye but he hasn't been able to see out of that eye because of the swelling, so today should be a good day...at least he will be able to see the t.v.
Yesterday, the doctor said that Dan would be inpatient until Monday at least. This is longer than we expected, but not due to issues with the surgery sites, but for pain management issues. Please continue to pray for infection control and pain management. Thank you! I will update again tonight or tomorrow morning.

So glad to hear the things are slowly getting healing. I will pray for pain management. It's so hard on everyone when they are in so much pain. Hang in there girl! My prayers are with you and the family!
